In our effort to advance the status of women at YLS and beyond as well as make positive contributions to the YLS community, Yale Law Women+ seeks to make crucial academic and professional information readily available. We create resources to facilitate collaborative learning, encourage transparency, and increase access to institutional knowledge.

YLW+ Guide for Parents and Families: provides information and advice for students looking to balance their time in law school with commitments to people and pets outside the law school.
YLW+ and YLJ – Notes on “Notes” & Student Publication Guidelines: provides pointers on how to prepare a Note, a short-form student scholarship piece accepted by many YLS journals. It also contains specific information about journal submissions policies, word limits, review cycles, and other guidelines for publishing student scholarship.
YLW+ Guide to Course Selection: outlines the course selection process and offers recommendations for building a balanced class schedule.
YLW+ Guide to Writing Requirements: offers information and advice for tackling the law school’s writing requirements.

Trans at YLS: A Guide for Trans Students & Allies: provides information to trans students on how to navigate life at YLS, and provides guidance to others at the law school who wish to become more knowledgeable about trans issues and more supportive of their trans peers and students
